1.05 Account closure. Paysera account deletion.

In order to close your Paysera account, the following actions should be performed:

  • if you have an active Visa card, please terminate your Visa card agreement. You can cancel your Paysera Visa card in your account, by selecting Accounts and Cards > Payments Cards, choosing the card you want to cancel, then clicking on Temporarily block / Cancel and selecting Block permanently in the newly opened window. When the card is cancelled, the card service agreement is terminated and the card becomes invalid. Card cancellation is free of charge;
  • if there are arrears on your card, you must first cover the insufficient amount on the account and then contact us. You can find the account top-up instructions in your account by clicking on Accounts and Cards > Account Top-Up. Choose the country and the currency, and account replenishment instructions will be generated for you.  More information on the repayment of debt can be found in FAQ section 6.06 Indebtedness;
  • if there is money left on your account, please transfer the money to your account with another bank so we can close your account. In case your account is not identified and you can't transfer the funds yourself, please provide your bank account details where we will transfer the funds before closing your account. Bank account details must include.

Bank account details must include:

  • Recipient name and surname
  • Recipient address 
  • Recipient bank account number 
  • SWIFT/ BIC code 
  • Recipient bank address 
After you perform the required actions, please send us an email to support@paysera.com from your confirmed email address in our system with a request to delete your Paysera account.

Note. If you do not want to close your account, but simply wish to disable or hide your account number so that it would not be displayed together with your other accounts, on the left-hand side menu, select Settings > Payment Account. In the opened window, select the account which you would like to temporarily hide and click on Deactivate account. If needed, you will be able to reopen the account in the same section Settings > Payment Account, by clicking on Activate account.
