The International Bank Account Number (IBAN) is a system adopted by countries within the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), which encompasses all members of the European Union as well as few other countries.
The same transfer forms apply to Lithuania, therefore, transfers to SEPA countries are performed via IBAN account using the unified format for payment orders and account statements.
