To activate contactless payment (NFC function) on the Visa card, after you receive the card and activate it, you have to make a payment using the PIN code first. If the payment is successful, the NFC function is activated. When paying with a contactless method, just place the card on the contactless card reader - the PIN code will no longer be required.
Please note that certain limits apply to contactless payments. E.g., in Lithuania, you will be able to pay for goods by using the contactless method only if the payment amount does not exceed 50 EUR. In different countries, different limits may be set for contactless payments.
