How to install the Paysera payment gateway on Shopify?

  1. You can find the new Paysera payment app here:
    https://apps.shopify.com/all-popular-payment-methods
Note: If you're upgrading from old integration, make sure you disabled it first.

  2. In the new window, you will see the message "Please press here to configure your plugin".
    Click
"here" and follow the next configuration steps.
Note: If you accidentally close the page, you can access it in Shopify's
    "Apps"
section by selecting the Paysera app from the list.

  3. On the Configuration page, enter the Paysera Project ID and Project password.
Also indicate whether you want to test the app (
Test mode) or not after the integration.

  4. Save the changes by clicking Register.

  5. Click on "Manage Paysera App" or go to the payment methods settings yourself.

  6. Activate the payment methods offered by Paysera. Click on "Activate all popular methods | Paysera".

  7. Log in to your Paysera account and make sure that the following addresses are listed in the project (e-shop) settings (“Projects and Activities” > “My projects” > “General project settings”):
    https://shopify-integration.paysera.com
    https://platforms.paysera.com
    https://CREATED-NAME.myshopify.com

Additional information

  • Please place the Paysera logo in a prominent place on your website, such as the footer.
The Paysera logo can be downloaded in various formats from HERE.

  • You can find your Project ID and password by logging in to your Paysera account and going to “Projects and Activities” -> “My projects” -> “General project settings” (if you don’t have a project – create one).

How to confirm your website ownership?

When you create a payment collection project in Paysera, you will be asked to prove your ownership of the website. Follow the steps below to do that:

  1. Go to the Shopify admin panel.

  2.  Select "Online Store" -> "Themes".

  3. Find your theme and select "Actions" -> "Edit code".

  4. Add the ownership confirmation meta tag to the file which contains the header code.
You will find the meta tag on your payment collection project page after logging in to the Paysera online banking.

  5. Log in to Paysera and click "Check" in the payment collection project settings.
After it is checked, you will be able to remove the meta tag.

Note: make sure you have disabled password protection of the new website, as our system can not reach locked content.
