13.1.12 Provision of a national identification number or a company code during the PIS payment

E-shops that according to the specificity of the provided services require a national identification number or company code of the client can mark the mandatory requirement in the configuration of the project that For a payment to be collected, the payer must provide their national identification number (personal code). If the buyer does not tick that they consent to transfer their national identification number, they will not be allowed to continue the payment.

Note. Submission of a national identification number will be available only in those banks that have such an option.

To enable this feature, login to your Paysera account, from the left-hand menu select Projects and Activities > My Projects > Here you can edit: Project settings > Payment collection service settings > For a payment to be collected, the payer must provide their national identification number (personal code). Tick the indicated service and click on Save changes.

Is it possible to check a national identification number faster?

Such possibility is available when clients pay via SEB and Swedbank.

By transferring a national identification number in a payment link in some cases we would perform verification already in the payment step, and:

(a) if there was a mismatch in a national identification number, a message would be shown in the system about such mismatch and the client could not continue the payment;

(b) if there was a match with the national identification number, the client would be redirected for further confirmation of the payment. A callback about the completed payment would contain a new parameter informing about a match of the payment code.

To activate the feature:

  1. Use the new parameter in the technical integration which comes in the first callback – ‘identification_successful', related with the processing of a national identification number.

  2. In the project settings select a feature For a payment to be collected, the payer must provide their national identification number (personal code).
