21.01. What is gold?

Gold – certified gold bars or gold coins (XAU) issued by different countries, the pure gold weight of which is measured in troy ounces (oz) or grams (g). A troy ounce is the equivalent of 31.1034768 grams.

Certified gold products are otherwise known as Investment Gold, subject to a VAT rate of 0 in many countries.
