20.01. What is the Escrow account?

Escrow is a secure payment arrangement beneficial for entering into sales and purchase agreements and service agreements.

A trilateral agreement (it can be multilateral) is concluded on the basis of which the escrow service provider (in this case Paysera) holds the funds paid by the buyer until the seller (recipient of funds) fulfills the conditions described in the agreement, for example, securely transfers the asset (good) to the buyer. Paysera will pay the buyer’s funds to the seller only after verifying the fact of the transfer of the asset.
