Sender's name is the name that will be displayed on the phone screen of the receiver of your message. In some cases, a sender's name can be replaced with a phone number, if mobile operators block alphabetic senders' names.

To change a sender's name, a user can submit it to the LightSMS administration through Lists > Senders. The administration activates the sender's name after verifying it as according to the rules.
